What are the requirements for the registration?
Minimum 1 Director, certified ID/Passport, cell, email, physical address and 3 proposed names for the company.
How long does it take?
2 Days
What happens after I pay?
We will send you a confirmation email.
Your application will be filed with CIPC right away.
After 2 days we will email the registration documents
Can I track the registration?
Yes, after you submit the application, you will be able to track it on our site under your dashboard.
How will I receive my registration certificate?
Via Email. The digital version are certified and original.
Can I make changes to the registration, e.g. name change, director changes?
Yes, changes can be made.
We can assist with the changes at a separate cost
Will the company also be registered with SARS?
Yes. The company tax number can be found on your registration certificate (CoR14.3)
What are the compliance requirements going forward?
Every year CIPC and SARS returns must be submitted.
Note: CIPC fee of R100 is payable to CIPC

Do I need to register for VAT?
It’s only compulsory if the company turnover is more than R1million.
You can, however, do a voluntary registration if the company turnover is R50,000 over a 12 month period

Do I need to register for PAYE/UIF
It’s compulsory when the company pays at least 1 employee R91,250/year (R7,604/month) – 2023 financial period

What is the difference between NPO and NPC
They are both the same type of organization – you can choose either an NPO or NPC
It is not required to register for both
NPO – Non-Profit Organization is registered with the Department of Social Development – registration takes over 2 months
NPC – Non-Profit Company is registered with CIPC (formerly CiPRO) – registration takes 2 days
Will the NPO also be registered with SARS?
Yes. The company tax number can be found on your registration certificate (CoR14.3)
NB: This tax registration is NOT tax exemption
What is the a PBO?
Public Benefit Organization – is a status SARS gives to NPOs/NPCs that have received the benefit of not paying tax, also known as tax exemption
Without tax exemption, NPOs/NPCs are liable to pay tax like any profit-making company
